Identifying Invasives: a walk on Clark Island

Join Amanda Devine as she identifies and discusses ways to manage the current populations of non-native invasive plants on Clark Island. The walk will provide you with knowledge of the most common and troublesome invasives found throughout the St. George peninsula. Amanda will also discuss the multi-year project to control the major areas of invasives currently on Clark Island.
 
Amanda Devine is Regional Stewardship Manager for Maine Coast Heritage Trust properties including Muscongus and western Penobscot Bays. A botanist by training, her specialties include invasive terrestrial plant management.

Due to limited parking registration is limited to 20 people. Some walking to Clark Island may be required, so good footwear is recommended. Carpooling is recommended.
