Port Clyde Landing Project Update

Entering the second month of work, CPM Constructors reports that steel sheets have been delivered to the site and approximately a third of the front sheets have been driven.  A smaller number of back sheets will be installed later in the project.  CPM will now begin cutting the sheets to the correct elevation. 
  
To accommodate parking during the busy summer season, the Town has temporarily acquired two rows of spaces at the intersection of Port Clyde Road and Factory Road.  These spaces are marked for two-hour public parking and are intended to relieve traffic congestion near the construction site. 

Work on the project will continue until a mid-winter shutdown and then commence again in early spring.  CPM informs us that they remain on target for a June 2024 completion date.
