The Emergency Services Committee has completed the donation of medical equipment to Camden Area District Nurses Assciation (CADNA - https://camdendistrictnursing.org/) which loans a wide variety of medical equipment needs throughout the area--including to St. George residents. Future donations or requests for medical equipment should go directly to CADNA.

Neighbor to Neighbor (ridesinstgeorge.org) can help with transport of medical equipment. The ES committee is also working on plans for a Warming Shelter and is actively seeking interested individuals to help with this initiative. Email ES Committee Chair Bruce.Lowry@mainehealth.org to learn more.

In cold weather, we Mainers get a hankerin' for hefty comfort food. These are all part of small town life. Maybe it's Aunt Kim's French onion soup. Mom's biscuits. Pappy's bean-hole beans. Share with us some good comfort food you love, and give us the story of why you love it.

Due to unexpected events, the inventory for the 2026 Boat Registration, Excise Tax, and Lake & River Protection stickers will be delayed. Currently, the anticipated arrival date at the MDIFW Headquarters in Augusta is December 26, 2025. As soon as the stock is received, we will begin distributing it to all MOSES agents.

CLOSED: Wed-Fri, 12/24-12/26.
OPEN: Sat. 12/27.

Town Manager Brandon asked deputy clerks Patty and Bill to put together a fun list of music. He asked us to put together a list of holiday songs that represented each employee here at the town. He didn't want to just ask what each employee's favorite was, but to pick a song that evoked the vibe of the employee. Doing as best they could, with the staff listing on the website, here's the list (with a description of why they picked the song, if there was some reason.)

Brandon: Holly Jolly Christmas (He seems like Burl Ives, no?)
Irene: Silent Night (Incidentally, after the staff received the finished list, Irene told us "Irene is Greek for peace. Very fitting song for my name.")
Bill: Little Drummer Boy (too on the nose?)
Ryan: I Saw Three Ships
Terry: Mele Kalikimaka (on account of his trips to tropical places)
Tara: Jingle Bell Rock (just seemed to fit her)
Ashley: I Want a Hippopotamus (She did admit she likes this one)
Steve: Run Run Rudolph (Does the guy ever slow down!)
Patty: Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (Apparently a song/dance routine from Girl Scouts)
Magan: You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch (Magan is a big Grinch fan)
Xfer Station Ben: Let It Snow (so he can plow it!)
Xfer Rob: I'll Be Home for Christmas (we understand he likes to spend time w/family)
Xfer Dave: Blue Christmas
Mike Smith: Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (Bruce Springsteen version, even though Mike if from NY and Bruce is NJ, they still have that same accent)
EMS Chief Katie: Christmastime is Here
EMS Dep. Chief Hanna: All I Want for Christmas is You (congrats on her engagement!)
Medic Jim: Feliz Navidad
Medic Chuck: Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer (based on his recent truck/deer experience)
Assessor Jackie: The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)
Island Institute Fellow Erin: I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas (something Texans don't get!)

Hope this gives you a chuckle.
