According to MRSA Title 36, Section 1504 (8), the Excise Tax on Documented Vessels must be paid by July 1st of each year. Failure to pay this tax may result in liens being placed on any and all of your real properties within Knox County. Over the next few weeks, if you haven't paid your boat excise tax, please stop into the town office and take care of it. Thanks!
