The Town of St George is currently accepting applications for a full-time position as Transfer Station Attendant. Our transfer station / recycling center has an excellent reputation for minimizing solid waste disposal through recycling efforts and composting and we’re looking for the right person to be part of this team. Areas of responsibility will include processing of recycled material and assisting the public in identification and proper disposal of solid waste. Other projects may be assigned. Mandatory training will be required to receive State certification.
This is a 40 hour per week position. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with full benefits including health insurance, retirement and paid time off.
