Back on December 1st the Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife alerted us that boat registration stickers were delayed, and would be arriving in Augusta on 12/26, and then distributed to agent offices. (You can read that original announcement at https://www.stgeorgemaine.com/article/2566320)
Yesterday we contacted IF&W and asked for an update. We were informed that the stickers had still not arrived in Augusta. The employee in charge of the project had been on vacation, and yesterday (Jan 6th, 2026) was her first day back. That employee was going to check in with the printer to see about what the delay has been.
We still do not have boat registration stickers, and we do not have an expected delivery date. We will alert you as soon as then become available at the town office. Thank you for your patience.
