Maine Outdoor Event at Bamford Preserve

February 15th  at 1pm  Join the Conservation Commission and our partner Maine Coast Heritage Trust for a Bonfire and Apple Tree Pruning Demonstration at the Bamford Preserve on Long Cove Road. This event is scheduled during the Great Maine Outdoor Weekend, to enjoy the outdoors, have some fun and learn something.  The pruning demonstration will be led by Amanda Devine , MCHT Midcoast Maine Regional Steward Manager and botanist by training  and local resident Dale Pierson , owner of Pierson Nurseries Bidderford ME.  Bring your favorite pruning tools or just show up and enjoy. . Snacks, hot drinks and bonfire provided. If there is snow on the ground bring your snow shoes or cross country skis.
